I recently submitted a group of 10 images to a big name stock library I had not used before. These photos are already carried on a number of other top 5 stock sites and sell regularly, yet none were accepted by this new library... I am left scratching my head. The reasons given were:- - "Your image did not meet our technical standards", and - "Your image did not reach our desired level of aesthetic quality". Sometimes I have trouble understanding what these people are thinking. I can deal with technical things like out of focus, image size, etc (and check all these in detail before submission).... but aesthetic quality??? what a load of rubbish... if it sells, it sells. Well I have been blown away by stock reviewers from yet another stock library.
